Application Process

• Applications are accepted only via ERAS     (Electronic Residency Application Service).
• Applicants must register for the NRMP Match     (National Residency Matching Program).
• Only electronically submitted applications are  considered.

Application Criteria

Applicants are evaluated based on the following (not limited to):

• USMLE (MD Applicants):
  • Minimum score of 220  or above on Step 1 and Step 2 CK on first attempt
  • Pass on first attempt of USMLE Step 2 CS      (if applicable)
• COMLEX (DO Applicants):
  • Minimum score of 500  or above on Level 1 and Level 2
  • Pass on first attempt of COMLEX Level 2  PE
• Additional Requirements:
  • Graduation from medical       school within the past 5 years
  • Valid ECFMG Certificate (for international graduates) by the NRMP Match date

    

Interview Process

• Interview Invitations are extended to selected candidates.
• All applicants will interview with:
  • The Program Director
  • At least one faculty member
• House staff interactions are included.
• 
  

Interview Format Options

• Virtual Interviews:
  • Conducted via Cisco       Webex
  • Includes virtual  hospital tour

    

Visa Sponsorship

• J-1 Visa sponsorship is available through ECFMG for non-U.S. citizen      applicants who match at Lincoln Medical Center.
